Simple Explainer Video on How Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Works. Best Method.

Mild HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY

Mild Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is the medical use of oxygen in a pressurized environment, at a level of 1.3 atmosphere absolute (ATA). 30% more than what you normally experience, which is similar to the pressure of being approximately 12 -15 feet underwater. Increased pressure allows for oxygen to dissolve and saturate the blood plasma (independent of hemoglobin/red blood cells), which yields a broad variety of positive physiological, biochemical and cellular effects. This noninvasive therapy is the most trusted way to increase oxygen levels to all organs of the body. The typical treatment lasts for 60-90 minutes, during which the patient sits down and breathes normally. HBOT has been demonstrated in several clinical studies to enhance the body’s innate ability to repair and regenerate. It is used as an adjunct therapy to complement and enhance the healing process in both chronic and acute conditions.

REVITALIZATION AND NEOVASCULARIZATION

The cells far from the capillaries that suffer hypoxia(low oxygen contribution) are revitalized with hyperbaric oxygen and can complete their functions again, multiply themselves and request more oxygen enabling the formation of new blood vessels(neovascularization), indirect hyperbaric oxygen effect revitalizing tissue, organs, and patient. This modern Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy is not only suitable for patients suffering certain illnesses, it can also be used by people with purpose of revitalizing organs, and in this way to prevent illnesses, to stay healthy and to prolong his life with quality.

Let’s remember that hyperbaric oxygen is in fact a normalizer and regulator of all biological functions: it reinforces the immunologic system, strengthens skin, prevents or corrects hypoxia that, in general, it is the underlying factor for almost all ailments.

As a patient at Des Moines Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Center, you’ll receive HBOT in a private setting with the latest hyperbaric chamber where your treatment team will be monitoring you throughout the procedure. The treatment is painless, although you may experience a sensation of pressure in your ears, very similar to the sensation you feel in an airplane while descending. During your treatment, you can sleep, work on your phone, listen to music or relax.

Mild HBOT benefits include but are not limited to:

Chronic inflammation, Neuropathy, Parkinson’s, Dementia, Cerebral Palsy, Post Stroke, Traumatic brain injury, Post concussion, Multiple sclerosis, and many others.

LAWS OF PHYSICS- BOYLE'S LAW AND HENRY'S LAW

Boyle's Law. As the pressure on a gas increases, the volume of the gas decreases because the gas particles are forced closer together.

Henry's law is a gas law that states that the amount of dissolved gas in a liquid is proportional to its partial pressure above the liquid.

It’s like when you purchase a bottle of soda, the CO2 (carbon dioxide) gas bubbles are under pressure, which decreases the size of the bubbles enough that they dissolve into the liquid. Therefore, you are unable to see them. When pressure is released, the volume of each bubble increases and the bubbles appear. While an individual is under hyperbaric pressure, the oxygen molecules decrease in size and are able to dissolve into the blood plasma. This exponentially increases oxygen delivery throughout the body and makes it possible for oxygen to reach inflamed tissue and support optimal cellular and organ functionality.
